Costumed Briefcase Relay
Form a team at work. Challenge the competition. Join the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and race for the SLUG CUP.
The Briefcase Relay starts at 6:00 PM at the Waiting for the Interurban statue on N 34th in front of the Fremont Bridge.
Teams consist of 5 persons (each runs 1k) dressed from the waist up in regular business attire and carrying a briefcase which contains five standard sized cans of food that will then be donated to Solid Ground non-profit at the end of the race. (Backpacks are not considered a briefcase).
Teams must check-in for inspection at Adobe Plaza across from the Waiting for the Interurban statue.
All Briefcase Relay participants may also run/walk in the 5K at 7:00pm for an additional $10 charge. These registrants will receive a Brooks tech fabric shirt instead of a cotton tee if registered prior to the 900 tech shirt limit.
