a fundraiser for both The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society \& The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation
Come on out and watch the sunset over Pike’s Place Market \& the Sound during a silly and fun night of Speed Dating and Singles Mixer at Hard Rock Cafe Seattle benefiting two great causes – The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Crohn’s \& Colitis Foundation. Proceeds from this event will go towards the research and help of those battling blood cancers and digestive diseases.
WHAT: Speed Dating
WHERE: Hard Rock Cafe Seattle. We will have the entire 2nd floor to ourselves
116 Pike St. Seattle 98101
When: Tuesday May 15th
TIME: Check-in begins at 6:30 PM. Speed Dating begins at 7:30 PM
Cost: $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door If there are spaces remaining.
AGE There will be Four age groups
(Please notice there is age overlap. This is intended for people who fall into that overlap to choose if they would like to participate with an older or younger age group. You choose where you would like to be placed)
HOW It Works – not every Woman will go on a ‘date’ with every Man. Each participant will have a total of 10 dates. Start with 5 dates lasting 5 minutes each with a minute to move on to the next (approx 30 minutes). There will then be a 30 minute break for drinks and food, followed by the final 5 dates. Men will remain at their seats and Women will rotate to the next table. Didn’t get a chance to have a date with someone who caught your eye – no worries – the mixer will continue after the dates complete and allow you the chance to mingle with other singles.
PRIVACY: Upon registration, each person will be given a "Date Card" at the beginning of the night and after you complete your dates, you will turn that card in to the Host, and only those people that Mutually list each other on their date cards will later receive an email with contact information for the other person – this is in hopes of preventing awkward moments during the dates themselves because no one is allowed to ask for contact information at the event (you’re on your own during the mixer!).
