Poet/Scholar, Lance Loder, left us on October 6th, 2009. In remembrance, his friend, Christian Swenson, will read and sing his poems 2 times this day.

Lance’s poems dive deeply into the relationship of Humans and Nature with grace, ferocity and humor. From haiku to lyrical Lance sculpted words with love, honor and great regard. This reading is in remembrance to Lance, a big-hearted, mysterious man from Idaho who walked Seattle’s streets and parks from 1887 until 2009.

Christian Swenson is an internationally renowned performing artist who has been sharing his unique body/voice creations for 30+ years.

This is a house/backyard event with a crackling fire! FREE.
