Zoo Tunes is a series of outdoor concerts held at Woodland Park Zoo during the summer months of June, July, and August.
What could be better than good music outdoors surrounded by the lush vegetation and exotic animals at Woodland Zoo Seattle?
Bring your own low-backed folding chairs, blankets and picnics to the concert. You can also purchase your food there if you don’t want to bring your own. Food is available for sale on the grounds during the concerts including gourmet sandwiches and cheeseburgers, soft drinks, ice cream, smoothies, cotton candy. Also featured is a Beer & Wine Garden offering a variety of microbrew beers, and a selection of wines. There is often artist merchandise for sale as well.

Zoo Tunes Tickets
Tickets for each concert are available for purchase at the zoo and at Metropolitan Market store locations in Queen Anne, Uptown, Sand Point, Admiral and Proctor. Tickets include a $1 facility fee that goes to help maintain the zoo’s concert facilities. For tickets purchased at Metropolitan Market, a $2 service fee will be applied, 90% of which goes back to Woodland Park Zoo. Attending a Zoo Tunes concert is a good way to help support the zoo!
Tickets tend to sell out at the zoo first. So be sure to check with Metropolitan Market if the show you want is sold out at the zoo.
Children 12 and under are free, one child per paid ticket. The zoo also offers a "Parents’ Night Out" program during concert events. You can drop off your children for a fun night with the Education staff at Zoomazium.
A limited number of tickets are available through www.BrownPaperTickets.com for those who live out of town and want to purchase tickets before arriving in Seattle.
Please note that the concert ticket only covers admission to that concert. You will need to purchase a separate admission ticket at the zoo gates if you want to attend the zoo before the concert doors open.
The West Entrance on Phinney Ave. N between N 55th Street and N 56th Street is now the main concert entrance.
